After years working in education as a teacher and a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, I transitioned to programming to become a FullStack Engineer, specialized in Ruby and Rails. I am passionate about creating beautiful and functional applications that solve real-world problems.
BASHO is a mobile-first web app in which you can curate your map of Tokyo with the places that matter to you. BASHO lets you sort and customize your pins, use your own photo, and allows you to create as many tags as you want to label your places and easily find them again.
HeroHub is a computer-first web app where users can book a superhero for a day. This fun project is a C2C platform working like an AirBnB website, where users can book a service, and owners(superheroes) can either choose to accept or decline the booking.
Based on the GoRails blog project, it runs on Ruby/Rails, with gems like Devise (authentication), pagy (pagination), vips (active storage image processor), action_text (to edit rich text) and TailwindCSS styling. The website was hosted on Render with a PostGreSQL database, and AWS S3 storage.
